I do like Palace. I don't like Pardew. I've no idea what the Jellyfish comment is about given Newcastle fans have shown a spine whether or not our representatives on the field have. I think you're ignoring the salient point to instead engage in ad hominem attacks.

Newcastle fans warned that Pardew is limited tactically, will fall out with players, will make odd substitutions, will struggle to arrest a slide and will blame all of this on evrything from the players, the fans, the officials, even on "science".

It will only get worse and you're better off without him. Put pressure on your owner (who genuinely has the best interests of your club at heart, unlike our own) to make a change before it's too late.

What vindictive scum Geordies must be that it isn't enough to hound a bloke out of his job but you need to stalk him on to his next one as well.

Wouldn't you guys be happier with a Girl (Boy) friend to occupy your time with? He has left your job you should be happy. Guess what though..his replacement failed as did the one after him. The current one seems to be in the process of failing also. It could be that you are the problem. For a club that most fans have a certain respect for you have become a laughing stock. Perhaps you should focus on your own problems rather than ours. We will make up our own minds about who our manager should be

Can you explain how Newcastle fans were responsible for the tactics employed by Pardew, or for the transfer policy employed by Ashley and his board?

Saying Benitez is in the process of failing after such a brief spell is awfully kneejerk, isn't it? I thought it was Geordies that were the knee jerking ones?

I'm happy to talk about either club (and others), but ad hominem attacks don't really push that discussion forward, do they?

Fish fish fish fish fishing.

Don't worry sir, lots of us have taken the bait. You even got some of our fans having a go at each other! Good work, you'll be remembered at next year's HOL awards for sure.

I said I was a content fan remember,i trust the owners to do whats right its as simple as that.I appreciate where we are now having watched my first game at Selhurst 40 years ago and unlike some on here I understand that I don't know better than the people that run the club.If Pardew fails to sign who we need and we are struggling just before Christmas then maybe the pressure will tell and he may have to walk. But I will support him fully because I love my club and that is what being a proper football fan is about. Its not about moaning, its not about whining its about enjoying the highs and supporting through the lows.So I can see you for what you are,i judge you as I would judge myself and its easy to see that your pride is gone. Your on this forum because your too ashamed to be on your own,Burton Albion and Rotheram is your subject matter now and the penny has dropped.

My point is that everyone is failing at Newcastle. perhaps there is a wider problem you should spend your time on rather than stalking our club.

Saying Benitez is in the process of failing after such a brief spell

Well he didnt keep you up did he - and has had a worse start to the season than Pardew but is our club you choose to stalk

ad hominem attacks don't really push that discussion forward

Given the personal abuse that Pardew experienced that is a hilarious comment.

The point is he has gone from your club. He is our problem now and we will make up our own minds. Each of our clubs have theor own crosses to bear and as fans we are best occupying ourselves with our own rather than other teams.

I think it is thoroughly unhealthy that you are letting Pardew take over your life. Get a girlfriend or something.

As Palace fans we didn't appoint Pardew though, nor do we continue to employ him. If you are concerned on our behalf and need to warn somebody, you could try contacting his employers. Steve Parish is usually quite responsive on Twitter. Thank you for your concern but other than painting "Pardew Out" on a duvet cover there's not much we can do, and even then, I'm not sure that kind of behaviour wouldn't be detrimental to the club right now.

Given you didn't reply I am starting to think that you were actually trying to encourage us to paint "Pardew Out" on a duvet cover.

Have you noticed how many "Pardew out" threads there are on this forum? Does that make us vindictive scum too?

I've never known a real supporter who blindly backs the manager despite obvious failings. How odd.

I give my full throated to support to my club, but if there's a transient figure who is damaging my club, I want them gone. Again you claim I've no pride, without any kind of basis for that insult. You again build a strawman to attack which has not basis in reality.

No he didn't but to blame him for that is to ignore a whole host of reasons that pain a far broader picture of the situation h inherited.

Ad hominem attacks don't move a discussion forward, unfortunately it's not possible for a fanbase to have a meaningful discussion with a manager like Pardew, the soundbites need to be pithy and quotable. Hence the "Welsh town" banner, but on the whole the abuse Pardew got was for his ability or his demonstrated behaviour, not his character.

I think it is thoroughly unhealthy that you are letting Pardew take over your life. Get a girlfriend or something.

I mean, this is just creative writing course now, isn't it? None of this has any basis in reality and is another logical fallacy

its nothing to do with Palace supporters wanting Pardew out or not. It is supporters of a club previously managed by Pardew (or anyone else) stalking him into later jobs. For example Palace supporters going on to Hull forums and stirring things up.

We get to choose or even abuse our own manager. We dont need help from outsiders with ill intent

You are way too occupied with what your former managers are doing - especially when things aren't exactly going well out the moment. You would have a shred of credibility if you are able to argue how much better things have gone since you forced him out.

instead your argument is - sack Pardew get relegated.

The fat, gravy stained shirt, horse punching Jawdee Nation sh*tehawk's back I see. Shouldn't you be posting on a Rotherham board or something?
