Scored the opener tonight, helping fire the south coast mob to the top of the Championship with a 2-1 away win at QPR.

Also named man of the match.

Not bad eh?

Still a great decision to bomb him out?

Yes. Still a great decision.

Did you go?

You really need to let it go. If I was Glenn I would be checking whether my bunny is still alive

Agreed. Waiting for the Evening Argus to report "Seagulls Footballer Has Jock Straps Stolen From Washing Line".

Just interested, now that Brighton are very likely to be coming up next season, how do you think Murray will do in the PL?

You would need to ask Bournemouth, they sold him to Brighton for some reason, like he wasn't good enough for the Premier.

It's a shame that they look like coming up, but I really can't see Murray getting any more than 7 or 8 in the PL, I think we have got two far better strikers in Remy and Benteke!!

If Murray was a starter in the prem he would easily get double figures. He played half a season for us in the prem and nearly got there and his Bournemouth record is not bad if you consider how many starts he actually got.

If Murray scores that many in the Premier League I'll eat my hat!

I think he will do better than Connor Wickham, Emmanuel Adebayor, Jonathan Benteke, Fraizer Campbell, Patrick Bamford, Loic Remy.

Is that enough to be getting on with?

Selling Muzza was madness.

It was a mistake. He has gone on to literally drag Brighton up to the Premier league and we have done little more than flirt with relegation both seasons since he went.

There is still the desperate prospect we will replace Brighton in the Championship next season. Our lack of cover up front has been an embarrassment to the Pardew/Parish axis this season with Loic Remedy and Fraizer Campbell as our back ups - in this context, Murray's sale has been basically an own goal.

Think selling Murray was a wise move, but having injury-proned Remy as back-up striker was a bad one. Have seen him getting injuried with no opposition players around him...just pulled a hamstring or smt with no contact (at all)..

Anyone who thinks Murray will set the Premier League on fire next season is delusional. He won't be good enough, won't play much, might score a goal or two, but will probably be sold to a Championship club again.

To some on this thread, every bad result since Murray was sold would have been avoided had he been playing, presumably scoring hat tricks every game and leading England to World Cup glory to boot.
