Reckon Dzeko would still cost us about 13m and would be about 1 in 3 goals wise. His salary would be about 130 I'm guessing (plucking numbers out of my aerse a bit but he is has played for Man City and is now at a top European club). So all in about 30-35m if a 3 year contract. And no resale. You need to be confident he can be close to 1 in 2 and I'm not. Thing about Benteke is that I think he would be close to 1 in 2 and if he did that next year we might be top 8. Good money in being top 8. And he has a resale value thanks to his age and being 1 in 2.

Can't keep relying on midfielders to score our goals. We are in deep trouble next season unless we get some natural goal scorers in sharp.
