Indeed. I was at Rovers for a game about 18 months ago & they scraped an attendance just over 5000 with about 150 away fans included. Quite like the look of the new Selhurst.
Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five! |

Cheers for sharing, not a fan of the design looks like an astronauts helmet, I know we are pretty restricted on what we can do but very underwhelmed, no character just 2 souless bowl stands and the holmesdale and whitehorse either side.

Surely that design was just knocked up by a fan. It's been around on the BBS for ages.

Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Here's to hoping that the club doesn't make any announcements until it is actually confirmed and approved by the given council. Its a shame about crystal palace park as the 'so-called' athletics track looks abandoned most the time anyway and to rebuild a 40k would of been a new chapter, as all clubs need to grow and continue to develop in all departments. However, I love the character of selhurst and I just hope that no matter what changes occur, that our Home remains just that, for there is no better fortress. At Selhurst park, us fans do our part and create soooo much atmosphere no matter the scoreline or opposition; we always turn up! Yeah the results on the pitch especially in the second half of the season didn't necessarily reflect the efforts shown by us fans from start to finish but we all know 'squad depth' is a massive issue that needs to be addressed and injuries really cost us. Putting that aside I love Selhurst park and for any club visiting its not going to be a comfortable time, like I envisaged some other stadiums within the league provide.

you want a humbling atmosphere for away teams? bring the away fans back up to the Holmesdale end of the arthur and have them pinned in both sides by our fans.

I have to preach patience here. We are coming up on the sixth anniversary of CPFC 2010 taking Crystal Palace and Selhurst Park off the scrap heap of near liquidation. Look where we are now. Did anyone in their widest dreams believe we would be a solid if unpredictable Premier League side and play in the final of the oldest Challenge Cup competition in the world? Would anyone have thought six years ago that an established Premier Manager would be ours? Alan Pardew signed a seven year contract at NUFC. Who would have thought he would walk away from that to come to us? What has happened on the pitch is nothing short of spectacular, even with the slump this past winter. Now the infrastructure must be addressed. It needs the same careful thought and planning that went into the playing and back room staffs. We can't afford false starts and hope. The Main Stand is a major concern, the Arthur Wait is next and probably has to be done either concurrently or very soon after the Main. To help accomplish this, Steve Parish brought in major investment from my country in the form of Harris and Blitzen. They will have a major say in what will be done. Rather than speculate, rather than rush in headlong with personal preferences, let's show faith in those who have earned it since June 2010. We have done very well by them. Let's show them the loyalty and patience they deserve. Edited by kenbarr (25 May 2016 7.03pm)

It seems that Sainsbury's are being super difficult (cnuts!). And Croydon Council have never been helpful.
