Immigration restrictions are causing a shortage of curry chefs. Sounds like a bad joke aimed at the right-wing working class and their love of Indian food. I've an unhealthy curry habit but if those are all the skills it takes to get you a visa then we might as well start a recruitment drive for foreign binmen because our natives must be fcuking useless.

I'm responding to you points that immigration is responsible for the the housing crisis, which the figures don't suggest, so far. Yes, potentially and probably there is a natural limit to the population of the country, but considering we are living in more spacious households and not using the housing stock we have got efficiently I think it is fair enough to say we have not reached that point.

Ultimately. We must remember that each wave of migrants, and they will be continuous with world population increase and displacement, will have several children each. Most likely more than the average. Even if that trend slows for one wave of migrants, there will be another right behind them. The population will sharply increase year on year and an ever increasing proportion of them will be migrants.

After many years of "mass immigration" we are back to where we were 80 years ago, So much for "overcrowding"!

I'm not disputing the figure but wonder how the fcuk did they managed that without towerblocks. I know most people were on the outskirts but then they would have been less affected by the blitz.
