I`m older than some of the replies on here but I loved the tongue in cheek `The Persuaders` and the original `Randall and Hopkirk Deceased`.

Ray Donovan is pretty good. Definitely worth a watch.

Star Trek
Star Trek TNG
X Files
The Sopranos
Breaking Bad
Waking The Dead
Fawlty Towers
Monty Python
Columbo

Breaking Bad is recent so has an unfair advantage right now.

There were other good series but they would not necessarily stand up to the scrutiny of modern standards.

For example,

Thriller.

Into season 3 of The Wire and its fantastic. Got Breaking Bad to follow when I've finished.

Also starting liking Odyssey on BBC 2 but now 11 episodes in it's garbage....luckily only 2 to go!

Knightmare?! Are you serious?

Even when I was a kid it was rubbish. It was just so easy! They'd get a spell and then one room later they'd have to use it. And they took AGES to decide anything so you got like two rooms an episode.

The whole premise was ridiculous, I realised that when I was 8. Still watched it though. It's scary how much awful TV Iused to watch as a kid.

You sir are wrong, and stepping upon my childhood. Knightmare was and remains one of the greatest TV shows ever. Classic television.

With you on that. Knightmare was brilliant. I also don't think it was easy. If it was so easy how come the kids very rarely won it? Even with the big beardy nonce and the questionable little fella in lycra trying to spell things out for them they still mucked about so much an unconvincing skull would bite them to death. What's not to love?

Because they were thick as sh*t.

The best series on at the moment is easily 'Mr Robot'. Its kind of a cross between Requiem for a Dream, Rain Man and Fight Club with Hackers.

Brilliant stuff. I have almost no idea what is going on half the time, nor where the series is going (or how much might be real).

One Foot in The Grave always raises a laugh in our household so I'll go with that. On The Buses too I enjoy, though sometimes it's more 'so bad it's good'.
