How much we reckon he will be on at PSG? Believe he was on 40K a week already at Newcastle so imagine around the 100 k a week mark. Its not only a question of being able to afford it but also of keeping balance in the squad. I know there is massive TV money on its way but doubt this would be realistic. Having said that: brilliant signing it would be! think i saw around 80/week. if memory serves, chamakh is our highest paid at around 40.

A season long loan could be the way to go despite people talking about the champions league. the bigger picture is Euro 2016,he wants to be in the french squad. So if he comes here PSG can pay half his wages and we'll pay the other half and Cabaye gets first team football. And he'll be welcomed by a number of french speakers in the palace squad.

From Sky Sports at CABAYE KEEN ON PARDEW REUNION Paris St-Germain midfielder Yohann Cabaye says he would be open to working with Alan Pardew again at Crystal Palace. The pair worked together at Newcastle, and Cabaye told French media: “It went very well with Pardew (last time). If I have to make that decision, it will be a pleasure to see my old coach. I enjoy it with him and he does a great job. “I am in a situation today where I am not getting the game time that I was hoping. The important thing is that I will think carefully and make the best decision. We will see how it evolves in the coming weeks.”

Skybet: 8/11 PSG 2/1 Arsenal 9/2 Palace. We've gone out in the betting from 5/2, know a big Gunners fan, they want him to be an upgrade on Coquelin. Lot of comp in the middle - Cazorla, Ramsey, Wilshere, Flamini etc, but I think Cabaye could get the game time he wants at Arsenal - if Wenger seriously wants him then we'd be more like 100/1, hopefully Arsene's judgement will be as good as it was over Fabregas.
Edited by Lyons550 (10 Jun 2015 12.33pm) He's not an AMC. Never seen him there for Newcastle or for France. He usually plays alongside a tough combative midfielder in a DM / pirlo type role and is given license to roam around a bit.

Possibly if they want to keep him and think he will be useful in the future. But he wants to secure first team football in run up to euros but doesn't want to leave PSG. That's the only scenario a loan looks plausible.
