Ah well not the end of the world - a very winnable six pointer next week with the potential for new players to come in who WILL make us better

Not in the bottom three and a win can shove us right up to mid table

I still wish we had signed that forward though

Shame that we let it all fall apart (Arsenal could have scored more if they stepped it up a few gears), but 2-0 is a respectable enough result. Let's beat West Brom and everything is looking good.

think we underplayed myself and didn't get at 'em enough. A very easy victory for them. No sweat.

They're one of the best teams in the league with the second best defence. They've also not conceded at home for ages.

Exactly. Unbelievable to think some people think we should have just "gone for it", whatever that means! Is it like Holloway tried first half at Anfield?

Most certainly not European.

I have to agree. We looked almost as meek as that second half performance against Hull. Just came and hoped for the lowest form of punishment.

The game went exactly as I thought it would and once again we had that one great chance and unfortunately it fell to Jerome. Would it of made a difference, who knows, but it would of been nice to score.
Bannan made a difference and Bolasie is far more effective when allowed to play as a winger rather than an extra fullback.
Hopefully the new boys will force a slight change of approach and Chamakh has to go back up top. Love Jerome's effort, but that ain't gonna keep us up.

Yeah, Jerome always looks particularly limited in games like today. Somehow though, despite Bendtner being a much better player, when he came on I was still relieved it was for them not us!

Will be interesting to see where Pulis looks to fit in some of the new boys, mainly Ince & Ledley, and where he moves some of the current regulars as a result.
