Only a year or so ago he was regarded as one of the world's best left backs. Financially, would it be good business? I'm not sure but then we wouldn't do the deal if it was silly money and broke our wage structure so if all parties were happy then yeh great.

Doubt it will happen. Mr Parish will somehow try to screw Roma over, then the deal will backfire. You're right, of course, which is why I'm not getting my hopes up, to be bitterly disappointed. Let's face it, he's not going to play for £40K a week is he?
