Monkeypox origin story. During the covid pandemic in May 2021, the Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI) and the Munich Security Council (MSC) convened an international pandemic war-game “Tabletop Exercise on Reducing High-Consequence Biological Threats.”

[Link]

The scenario had participants imagine” a “global pandemic involving an unusual strain of Monkeypox,” a virus found in Africa, beginning one year later, on “May 15, 2022.”

In typical pandemic war-game style, the biosecurity simulation script imagined catastrophic outcomes with over a quarter billion deaths worldwide from the genetically engineered monkeypox strain.

Although the name sounds like it was written for a dystopian movie script, monkeypox is a real virus discovered in Africa in 1970; roughly 10% of cases are fatal.

Then, in mid-May 2022, right on schedule, authorities in the real world reported outbreaks monkeypox in Europe, the U.K., the U.S., and Australia. The WHO convened an emergency meeting to address the outbreak a few days later.

Fortune magazine reported on May 19 that “U.S. government places 9 million order for 13 million freeze-dried Monkeypox vaccines,” with an option to buy another 0 million, from biotech company Bavarian Nordic.

Technically, these were smallpox vaccines which are reported to be 85% effective against monkeypox.

They are laughing at you.

Whichever way you dice it and approach used, Covid-19 was going to have a big worldwide impact, economically and in terms of global spread. You are positively craving that the same happens with MonkeyPox so that you can 1) run with this dark narrative and 2) appear to be correct about something on the internet. It's very unlikely though that we will have any restrictions, as Monkeypox as stated has many disadvantages that covid didn't. We're hardly going to have millions of cases of Monkeypox every week.

" The disease can also spread from person-to-person via large respiratory droplets in the air, but they cannot travel more than a few feet so two people would need to have prolonged close contact.

"It transmits through large droplets, which don't travel very far, or through contact with lesions themselves or touching someone with bed linens or clothes or recent contact with lesions," Doron said. "It's not something you get without very close intimate contact, which is why it doesn't tend to cause outbreaks."

She added this transmission route is different from that of COVID-19, which is spread through small aerosols that can hang in the air for several minutes.

"Aerosols are not subject to gravity but large droplets, they get pulled to the ground," Doron said. "Also, monkeypox isn't an illness that is transmitted during the asymptomatic phase, which is what made COVID such a formidable foe.""

I'm not saying there won't be further spread, but it's not a pandemic so it seems very unlikely that there will be a pandemic response.

It’s odd that nobody can seem to remember what life was like before “COVID”

Why have people accepted the “new normal” other than they were told to.

Pretty similar to how it is now really, since there are no restrictions to speak of here.. (with the exception of the impact on the economy of course - due to a multitude of reasons, this certainly being one of them).

Due to the actions of governments globally largely led by those directly associated with the World Economic Forum.

Isn't it strange how every new panic lines up exactly with the aims of the WEF?

Pandemics tend to result in a global response. I was one of the the first to say that beyond the first lockdown, it was possible that more harm was being done than good, though in retrospect regardless of the response taken (Sweden for instance) tremendous damage was done anyway. People seem to rule out the nature of the virus itself as a massive contributing factor, and your solution appeared to be to do nothing, including vaccinating no-one.

The above combined with big changes like Brexit, and of course the Russian invasion of Ukraine and response to it to form a perfect storm. A lot more in life in haphazard timing wise than planned. I'm certainly not saying that people don't position themselves to take advantage of that, but that not everything is some dark plan in the making. Monkeypox isn't covid, and isn't a pandemic. We're not going to be plunged into a monkeypox lockdown, and as our own government don't even listen to their own edicts, I suspect that even in a legitimate pandemic situation in future of massive risk to health, I doubt most people would adhere to restrictions anymore anyway.

Is your business suffering or something? Absolutely relentless torrent of drivel. There is an excellent market for this sort of verbal waste on various social platforms which you can promote and monetise.

Did you know? 98.0000001% of people are morons.

More often than not I would think it's the lack of a business or routine social purpose that results in this kind of behaviour.

I know, I can barely recall going to the office all 5 days a week and not just 3 or 4, there not being hand sanitizers in supermarkets and... wait that's about it. The Pepsi Max in my local supermarket has gone up by 10p per 2L bottle and I certainly remember what it was priced at previously!! Oh the mayhem and tyranny that has ensued!!! How were we so foolish?? How were we so blind!!!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

The covid pandemic actually worked out pretty well for me to be honest! I got to live and work in london for the last year with my laptop. while Ireland were in lockdown up till febuary this year! and thier stupid covid pass for sitting in coffee shops!

Went to nearly every home game this season and then some! except when I got covid!

I unfortunately got the "return to the office call" in the dublin office for next month!

Just hope this Monkey pox thing is as serious as they say! another year WFH would be brilliant!
