What you wrote doesn't seem to relate well to what I posted. I said personal identity. How someone else sees you is for them.....similar to the state.

But maybe we should keep all of this ideological crap in the Tommy Robinson thread where it belongs. Identity is very much related to Brexit. The UK wants more control over its own decisions....that's sovereignty.....A majority here doesn't want to be apart of the collective outside of things like European defence or projects like space. To be perfectly honest Stirling your continued reference to a flag is puerile and only serves to demonstrate the paucity of your ideas. I don't even remember which icon I clicked on, was it North Korea? I did it purely because it pisses you off. And all you ever do is take the rise, over and over and over again. Now if you don't mind please could we get back to Brexit and we can continue this on the Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon thread.

Apparently Amber Rudd and some other cabinet members are reaching out to the opposition in the hope that they can find a cross party solution. Gosh I wonder if they've considered a 2nd referendum? Come to think of it why bother with that let's just cancel Brexit the people made a huge mistake and were lied to so let's call the whole thing off. On a more serious note those politicians arguing for a 2nd referendum have not explained what has changed in the EU? If anything the EU has become more entrenched. I don't want a 2nd referendum but calling for one because of project fear is not good enough. Now if the Remainers could argue that the EU has moved on certain things they might convince enough people that their reasons for voting leave are no longer valid. However the more inflexible the EU becomes the more I am convinced I made the right decision, other opinions are available. Mrs May like Cameron got nothing when she asked for their support fair enough it's their club but for me this is all the more reason to leave without a deal.

But from your willingness to put the state and the individual on an equal footing when determining someone's identity shows exactly what kind of state you'd like to have. Authoritarian. Which is strange given how much you hate that idea.

The problem for people who wish to preserve Englishness is how many people of other nationalities and cultures do there have to be before England changes to something different and less desirable? I happen to think that England was good as it was and although I don't think that all outside culture is negative I want it to be supplementary and complimentary but not overwhelming and destructive.

You already stated you behave in ways to wind me up and then you talk about having integrity? Scrutiny? I've rinsed your ideas all over this board, that's why you're so butt hurt.
