i would be quite surprised if Bournemouth went down. And would dance in the Street if the , never relegated, Everton imploded.

I see Burnley and Sheffield United are now confirmed to be joining the PL next season... how exciting
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

The relegation spots are still too close to call. Pick the bones out of this lot! Saints V Bournemouth tonight. Saints must win or they are down. If Bournemouth lose they get sucked back into the fray. (Home win) Bournemouth V Leeds. Another 6 pointer, but if Bournemouth get something from the saints game will they be on the beach? (draw) Leicester V Everton. Do or die for both teams. (Home win) Forest V Saints. Saints could already be gone. If not its another do or die game. (home win) Last day. Everton V Bournemouth. If the latter have not picked up enough points to be clear of Everton they could be leap frogged!! Will it be another skin of their teeth survival? I hope not. (home win) With each of these games points must be lost in the battle. Either 3 (win) or 4 (Draw) points. if Bournemouth lose all 3 of their relegation battles they will be lucky to survive. Sky are going to love the last day battles!

I'll reiterate my sentiment that if not for absolute safety itself, I would love the win on Saturday just to sit back and enjoy what could be a very entertaining and dramatic end to the season, especially now City have won the title

Despite the fact that the TV companies work up to a lather to excite the top of the table, it is largely predictable and anti-climatic. It is TV fodder for those people who like Only Fools and Horses and listen to Queen. All the fun and genuine tension is always at the other end.

Partly because there area always loads of permutations, but also because it actually matters. City will now win at a canter, and when you've won 4 in the last 5 years, does another really mean much? I doubt it. On the other hand, many clubs have shown that the drop can have catastrophic consequences. And they you may bever get back there

If we win at the weekend, I'd argue West Ham are still far from out of it... City away

Absolutely. They have Leicester after that, who have improved recently and in a bit of form (comparatively), then BHA, City and Wolves with Bournemouth last game. Frank Lampard has gone massively up in my estimations. The best manager we never had!
