He should: play Ayew where he belongs in Wilf's place and use Wickham and/or Benteke as striker.

He will: continue in the delusion that Ayew is a striker and use Schlupp as a wide man and Townsend behind Ayew in a 4-4-2.

He was complaining that he didn't have the players to change games but tonight he sat there with Benteke, Wickham and Meyer all on the bench and made no use of any of them. Totally incompetent.

Well, he spoke out before in the post match interview, and no-one took too much notice. This time, it's going to be talked about all over the media and the tackles/challenges are going to be looked at closely, and with any luck, so will a lot of the ones in previous matches. He was described tonight my the commentators on the stream I was watching as 'the most fouled player in the Prem' That should mean that referees are more aware and watchful of the tackles on him, surely?

It will be interesting to see if they can justify the criticism of Wilf's actions tonight. Not good behaviour on his part, but I can't bring myself to blame him - straw that broke the camel's back and all that.

I've just heard on radio 5 live that Wilf had a point. Foul after foul unpunished. I say fair play to Wilf, Mariner deserves that clap, what a complete pilchard. I hope he has a s***e journey home.

Think it's time that Wilf grew up, we all know that he gets fouled continuously, but great players accept this and carry on.
He is going to get hammered by the FA and deservedly so, at £120,000 a week I hope the club fines him an equal amount for each game he is going to miss.

Whatever you think of the refs decisions you cannot take the p*ss out of them as he did tonight, this has been coming for sometime maybe Wilf will learn or maybe not.

‘Marriner deserved it ‘ I bet Marriner couldn’t give a f*ck about a 26 year old clapping him for being booked.
The players, fans and club don’t deserve for him to be fit to play and watching from the stands against Fulham. He doesn’t deserve to be paid.

Correct yet you dont see him crying to the media about it and he just looks at the ref when it happens.

Wilf has an attitude problem and the club kissing his ass doesn't help.

I think he will get extended ban for what he did now people will say but he got the red yes but he refused to leave the pitch still moaning at the ref this is more punishment based on the rules

Push Schlupp out wide and slot Meyer in midfield. Simples.
