As have said not sure but Moses and RLC would be worth thinking about Chelsea don't need Zaha unless Hazard is moving to Real Madrid. I don't see this happening in January but it is quite likely during the summer. What is possible is that Chelsea do us a favour now with some of their players in return for first dibs on Zaha in the future. If you believe football gossip this type of gentlemen's agreement / building relations with other clubs goes on all the time. Edited by Badger11 (31 Dec 2018 8.48am)

Some cheeky so and so has suggested elsewhere that Wilf will be off to Chelsea in return for Moses and cash. Can't be surely! As discussed in Transfer Talk passim, the last time a player swap deal rumour turned out to be true was in the early Miocene.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle We need to play to Wilf’s Strengths, get the ball out to him wide. He can then isolate the right backs and cause havoc. What was Roy thinking of playing him as a lone striker? That last 15 minutes against Chelsea underlined this, we overloaded them down the left with him and PVA.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Playing Wilf down the middle works well on occasion but not week in, week out. To me he looks permanently frustrated as a result. He becomes a different player once he's moved back out wide. Hopefully the introduction of Solanke and the return of Wickham and Benteke will put an end to his being played out of position.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Zaha looked good up top alongside Tekkers as the big man won the flick-ons and lay offs, while Zaha used his pace. Up top on his own he disappears from games. Wickham looks close to being able to taking over the lone striker role if Roy sticks with 4-5-1, or as the muscle in a 442 with Zaha (or possibly Solanke). Once he came on we had a target to hit and we instantly looked more threatening. He looks like he's bulked up (hopefully not too much). I'll be honest and say for me whereas Zaha was a large part of the entertainment in games lately he has been one of the biggest frustrations. Hopefully he'll get back on the left wing and return to beating players for fun.

Not himself lately and we will not be relying on him in up and coming games .

When does ban start? And how long ? Next game ... and then who knows, given his continued mocking of the ref after getting the red. It was a foul, true ... but what a dumbass. Stephens should've been off, too, in the first half for the studs-up assault on Townsend. Not even a yellow. Edited by jhillman (30 Jan 2019 10.27pm)
