It was on the day of sentencing they were already found guilty of the disgusting behaviour! I'm not making him out as a hero! The people who should be in jail are the police and the people who ignored and didn't act on this crime when first reported You realise there were several linked trials right?

He literally could have let one of the gangs walk free because of his flagrant disregard for the law. Actually, ignorance is probably more accurate. So your saying the hard evidence of child grooming would be quashed because of a bloke outside court, get real!!

The trial could have collapsed. It's not that difficult to understand is it? How excactly? The fact it didn't says more than "could have"

You realise there were several linked trials right? So how would they be affected? This is your chance to explain.

So how would they be affected? This is your chance to explain. Who is worse? The village idiot or the bloke who tries to argue with him ? Tommy is highly likely to die in prison. The Kevin crehan precedent is already there.

So how would they be affected? This is your chance to explain. Because the juries of the other trials could have been influenced by knowledge of what was happening in this trial, and they were relying on those in this trial and the other perpetrators yet to go to trial to testify against each other in order to ensure the ringleaders got the right sentences. This is why the reporting restrictions in place. Not for some supposed 'cover up' from some higher force. Can you honestly not see that? Edited by DanH (12 Jul 2019 11.51am)

You lot need to educate yourself on the law. So educate me. I'm eager to hear your expertise on how TR would affect the trials.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'BBC fake news - Tommy Robinson' by Midlands Eagle Reporting restrictions are put in place on lots of trials where there are interlinked defendants. It's really not that uncommon.
