There is no doubt at all that, despite around 98% of us now carrying C19 antibodies, vaccination is still recommended for everyone. Boosters for the double jabbed. Starting jabs for anyone over 5 who remains unvaccinated. That's because vaccination gives a stronger, longer lasting protection, whether you already have antibodies from natural infection, or not. With more variants anticipated, and no reason to believe they will be as benign as Omicron has proved to be, we need to keep our guard high. It will be interesting to see how long this lack of interest lasts, so we can judge how genuine it is. I can only hope I am wrong! You crack on

Tourists ambling around Wales in significant numbers yesterday. Most maskless, with no regard for social distancing between themselves, or others. Ably assisted by a rugby match, where throngs of Welshies (and probably a few English) flocked to pubs where alcohol flowed and distancing became redundant within seconds. So the point I am going to make is, whether you want to keep measures in place is no longer your decision. Government, and an increasing number of bored population are going to tear down restrictions, and then you're on your own.
I disengage, I turn the page. |

No one looked at the Pfizer report yet? Yet more evidence to support my informed decision to remain unvaccinated.

Your point was, presumably, that now there is a bigger global news story, that Covid no longer matters or even exists (“it’s a lot of bollocks”?) - I supplied an example, of which there are many, of how impactful Covid remains in some parts of the world. I have colleagues and many clients in Hong Kong who are all saying the same thing about how bad it is over there now, but you believe they are all lying because... China.

Something like 15% effective. I would say that most people I know are not rushing to get kids vaccinated, if there's any risk it doesn't seem worth it.

The report saying that that out of 42086 recipients of the trial vaccine that there was 1223 fatalities...... Media won't report on this tho they have a smoke screen in ww3
