Edited by Stirlingsays (11 Dec 2018 6.54pm) I fully appreciate that they grow a lot of potatoes in your neck of the woods but there was a reason we lost 144,000 merchant seamen in WW2. We aren't self sufficient in food. Furthermore I don't describe the global economy that I like. I just describe the one that exists. Whereas your opinion on the subject is?

My opinion is that it would have been nice to have agreed something sensible with the EU but given their tactics we need a 'no deal' and to treat them as a competitor. We can lose the neo liberals amongst us....they can bugger off again.....I'll eat my potatoes and try not to weep.

But seriously when you're presented with a vaguely coherent argument, instead of countering with an alternative you just resort to unpleasantness. I made the mistake of thinking you had a few more grey cells than rolf but I was wrong (again). The flatlands of Cambridgeshire / Lincolnshire is the perfect place for you. Tiny gene pool and an ear in the middle of your forehead.
