In 2021 it would make such a nice change if we didn't involve ourselves in the UK in American matters !!

You don't want to turn large numbers of genuine protestors into criminals. Allowing them to know that a President isn't going to send in a paramilitary force to carry out the task, with all the collateral damage that would follow, and that it will be handled locally, makes perfect sense. This then is probably the earliest it could have been done. In the age of Trump this isn't political. It's just common sense. Trump mentioned the army and the dems baited him to do it. He didnt so the dems let it carry on.

Your opinions are so absurd that I have to keep convincing myself that you are not a troll. You would defend anything that supports your perverse mindset.

Unfortunately the football commentators are now putting their own incorrect and biased spin on pre-match kneeling. They will make a pompous announcement along the lines of: "The players of both teams continue to show their commitment to ending racism." Garbage. They are showing their support of BLM, which on Page One of their manifesto vow to 'end white priviliege'. Wow. How many groups publicly declare they are targeting a specific racial group with the aim of diminishing them? Remember, it is their definition of 'white privilege' so will be horribly biased and discriminatory. When does the destruction end? Sistine Chapel?: Paint over it. Black. Eiffel Tower?: Dismantle it. Statue of Liberty?: Tear it down. Will it ever come to this? I hope not, but someone has to make a stand now.

Trump mentioned the army and the dems baited him to do it. He didnt so the dems let it carry on. He did more than just threaten! He sent federal law enforcement officers to several cities, against the wishes of the Governors. I have no idea what you mean by " a cloaked part of antifa". So far as I am aware antifa has no overarching organisational structure. It is simply an idea with loose groupings of like-minded people. Most Democrats, and indeed many decent Republicans, are going to harbour anti-fascist sentiments. Which is all that lies at the heart of antifa. That some on the fringes use that sentiment as an excuse to promote either violence, criminal activity or extreme left-wing views is very regrettable. That doesn't though mean that everyone involved can be tarnished with the same brush.

Coming from you, whose views are often so bizarre as to cause me to laugh out loud, I regard that as a compliment. If you think they are absurd then that proves I must be on the right track. So thanks.

Edited by tonymikejoe (03 Jan 2021 10.23pm) Your claims were all dismantled and proved incorrect in the first 75 pages of this thread! Might I suggest you go back and read them. In short these protests have nothing whatsoever to do with the politics of the group who use the BLM name. The FA, the players, the PFA, Southgate and Kane have all said so. Openly and conclusively.

Apologist. Seeking rational reasons for taking actions which result in the least amount of harm is not to apologise for anything. Criminals deserve to be detected and punished. Those not involved deserve to be protected. Or are those who protest peacefully also criminals in your mind? Has it crossed your mind that there might be any truth in the suggestions that the real problems were caused by right-wing infiltrators seeking to create confrontations?
