And removing Covid restrictions is timed perfectly to deflect any criticism coming BJ's way over alcohol-fuelled working events. It ain't science. It's politics 100%! Along with the Ukraine crisis this is pushing any action on him into the long grass. As changing a PM in the middle of a major international crisis would be extremely unwise it now seems very unlikely that anything will now be done about Johnson until after the Council elections.

Yup this is the rebels plan let Johnson take the heat for the next few months and then try and get rid of him so the new leader has a clean plate for the next GE.

Is that why Holland, Germany, South Africa, Denmark, Sweden, Finland , etc are doing the same? Boris must be more popular than he seems

As Macmillan said, when asked what was the most important thing in politics "events dear boy, events". Sometimes they benefit, Sometimes not.

Been a rough two years! especially the last 8-9 months but got through it in the end! (really tough in ireland with vax passports but managed to spend a lot of time in London thankfully) Lost a lot of so called "friends" and family members over my informed decision to not get vaccinated. I still stand by it! All I hear now is "I am definitely not getting the booster" Onwards and upwards!

So, another conspiracy theory. Events aren't theories. They, and their impact, are observable facts.

People deciding not to now get the booster is a very regrettable side effect of all this.

I'm still unvaccinated and unfortunately have contracted COVID. Less a logical or in any way purposeful decision, more lazy procrastination followed by a bout of serious, non-COVID related illness and hospital stays on my behalf. My hope now is that of course I get through it and can then sneak through the side entrance into the grand gathering where the 500 of us left have survived having not been purged/involuntarily euthanized by these so-called 'elites' with their 'vaccines'.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

I did my research, I looked at the facts, I followed the science! I came to an informed decision. What's wrong with that? People deciding not to get the booster is their own choice! I am sure they have also come to an informed decision about their own body.

I am sure they have also come to an informed decision about their own body. Please share this "science" with us. No science I have seen on this suggests not getting vaccinated is a wise decision, so if you have genuine scientific evidence to the contrary I would be pleased to know it. There is a very big problem with the idea that people are entitled to make this kind of decision solely on their own. If that decision has the potential to impact the health of others, and it does, then those others also have a right to a view on it. They also have the right to refuse contact with those they fear, and to avoid socialisation with them. If the others outnumber the dissenters, then it's the dissenters who will be excluded. That's just commercial sense. Where two rights complete, one must ultimately trump the other, and someone needs to arbitrate on which it is. That someone is the government, and up to now they have bottled it. Whether they will in the future remains to be seen.
