More space? More open spaces, beaches and countryside to walk in. Only today I walked for an hour, over rolling countryside with views down to the Fal and only saw 2 or 3 other people. The sun was out and it got quite warm. Spring arrives early here. The camellias are in full flower, as are the daffodils in the hedges. I have a fuschia which has remained outside and in bloom all winter. Yesterday we were on a huge storm beach at low tide, again with only a handful of other people. So things to enjoy, and safe spaces to enjoy them. I know we are lucky, but then again these choices are there for all.

Do you also support the Government removing COVID restrictions in England? I am suspicious of it, because of the timing and way it was made. In the commons, by Johnson and not the Health Secretary. When previously it was at a lectern supported by government scientific advisors, who all have been noticeably silent since. So if the science supports it, yes. If it is a political diversion by a populist PM trying to save his own skin, no.

So support for those chosen to make decisions for us is contingent upon their suspected motivation? Surely the same applies in every aspect of life? I abide by the law, and I trust our Parliament to question Johnson's motivation just as much as I do, including the many honourable members who are Tory. If they are satisfied this is a wise decision and the advisors support it, then I will be content. Right now I suspect it to be a politically motivated early announcement of an anticipated official decision which hasn't yet been made. It seemed to take everyone by surprise. It seems intended to transfer some of the very evident "feel good" factor onto Johnson, who is appearing more like Trump every day. Even to the point of some of his "supporters" accosting an opponent with some of the inappropriate words he decided to place in the public arena. Much smaller in scale of course than Trump, but nevertheless the same tactics are evident. I dread to wonder, if he does face a vote of no confidence, whether any might try to occupy Parliament. After the capitol riot and what is now happening in Ottawa anything seems possible. I really hope not.

It looks like we are seeing emerging data of a significant increased risk of Myocarditis in younger people (75 percent of cases under 30, eighty percent male) after mRNA vaccination. Cases rare for older age groups. I think we will be hearing more about this soon. Dr John Campbell on this emerging data: Edited by Stirlingsays (12 Feb 2022 1.23am)

But then you knew that.

If it was a choice for all it wouldn’t still be the open space it still is.

Similar to opening-up Universities to everyone by charging tuition fees and scrapping grants, and installing student loans. Opportunity for everyone and freedom to choose. Not. Back to CV-19. BJ thinks it's OK to pre-empt scientific evidence and guidance, by giving a date for total lifting of restrictions. Utterly moronic. Meanwhile , back in a land of intelligent Governance, Drakeford has said there will be a review at the end of February, with any changes to be implemented later in the following month.
