Neither. Trump is frantically thrashing around like a fish on a hook. He will be reeled in though. Trump knows his lawsuits are horses***, but he cannot admit defeat. He never will. He is unable to mentally deal with that, because he is a small and terribly insecure child. How do you think this will be resolved? Trump was always likely to be a lame duck at a time when a decisive change of direction is needed on C19. Now he will be even more distracted. With noises starting to come from the GOP that they may distance themselves do you see any prospect of the 25th amendment being used? Can you see his team doing that to try to protect their own reputation? Or even another swift impeachment but this time with the Senate ready to remove him under McConnell's guidance?

I haven't encountered anyone who believes Biden will be a 2 term President and many who think he will resign during his 1st. So I think people are prepared and that their major concern was ensuring Trump's removal. Who did that was of secondary import. That Trump's base is solid and motivated is true. That his con tricks and lies work with come people is also obviously true. That the turnout is high because the passions have been inflamed is also true. Put them together and you can begin to see how his share has increased. That the culture war will continue is certainly true but Biden stands a better chance of calming it than Trump. But Biden’s appeal is meant to be his experience and the vast wisdom he’s gained. Unimportant apparently if he can be replaced so easily. Suspect the culture war is now so firmly entrenched that it’ll take a generation to improve if it ever does.

That's where his experience, ability to listen and delegate will prove valuable. Once the storm has passed then the movement to a longer-term plan managed by Harris can be started. It's going to be hard for anyone and you can anticipate that after only a few months everything will become Biden's fault.

Any balanced person would think there's absolutely no issue with the postal votes. Frederick Douglas has only voted three times and he is a young 165.

Really, Maple? Anyone who trusts Wikipedia to supply even a fraction of the truth is sleepwalking through life.

I still go back occasionally as the old folks are there, including recently after about 7 months away, when I drove past Catford Library en route to Forest Hill at about 09:30 where there was a man lying flat on his back, starfished, at the bus stops with nobody batting an eyelid. I may have cracked a smile.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |
