I’d heard 50% sell on fee, admittedly from people that aren’t close to football but god knows who they got it from. Was surprised to hear there is no release clause in his contact either, anyone know if that’s right? Suspect if we sell which I hope to Christ we don’t, it’ll involve a player swap to f*** over United as I guess they don’t get anything if that happens or at least only 50% of whatever fee in addition to the player swap we get. Have a feeling we’ll swap him for cheek next season, much as I like RLC, hope I’m wrong and zaha stays forever, certainly hodgsons comments this week give me hope. 1st thing we have the sell on clause as he started with us, manu at best will only have 10%, as manu have done very little to improve his career and manu didn't want him, bottom line we would get the lions share, apart from that he is going nowhere Edited by michaelpearce (20 Aug 2018 6.24pm)

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle All this transfer talk and what Man Utd will get if he is sold, is all totally irrelevant as he isn't going anywhere in the foreseeable future.

In a similar vein to what he is saying about Benteke - he will come good in the end, etc etc

A point we proved for all but 10 minutes of today’s game.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle This post has been merged from a topic called 'Will Zaha go to China ? ' by Midlands Eagle The article is suggesting that they're offering him £44m over a four year contract, not us. Would be massively surprised if he went there and quite disappointed in honesty. If and when he does leave us it should be for a Champions League club.
We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold... |
