Is it over yet?

I've already got election fatigue.

The council elections look disastrous for everyone except the Tories.

Weren't the 48% all supposed to flock to Tim and Lib Dem's?

Wasn't Jezza going to hold council seats because people got his 'message' despite what the nasty right wing media says about him and his canary brained cohorts?

UKIP's collapse has strengthened the Tories. Good thing to as Nuttall is a bellend. How ironic for all of our limp wristed 'fraternity' if Peter Whittle became UKIP's next leader and the first gay leader of a major party.

Let's wait for Scotland to start counting at 9.00 and see what happened there.

Oh, it's all gone quite on the liberal left ...

Kinda.

Still quite happy that the election means that the Tories will have enough seats to claim a proper mandate in the Brexit talks.

The left have played a really poor hand on Brexit. All their arguments make them look like supplicants to the EU. When people read you and Kermy and legal for example. That's what they are getting from the left. It comes across that they prefer the EU to the UK....with two of the three I actually think that's right.

It's not going to fly in England.

It's like the progressives are quite prepared to cede power to the Tories while they overhaul the Labour party and ensure that the centrists and the right have no power in Labour anymore.....It's like they want to turn the clock back and make Benn win instead of Healey...But this time for the future of the party.

The 'progressives' don't really care about the working class. They care about gaining a foothold in mainstream political life....No more selling the socialist worker outside tube stations.

But the logic isn't there.....England is a home owning society....It just isn't going to happen but even the intelligent ones don't see the woods for the trees.

The only chance for them is another crash....But this time one that results in the fall of capitalism.

It would take something drastic like that for people to start looking at the far left....Mind you with a CND leader, Labour, even then, would find it difficult.

The problem is that no one listens to the words from the Rachel Dolezal of Devon. An Englishman pretending to be a Scot, with a band of imaginary friends.

I disagree with the emboldened point. I genuinely believe that the vast majority of the activists - I've met a fair few- (there are 2 or 3 I can think of admittedly) I've met are not political 'careerists'

Fair enough....I was drawing out a stereotype I suppose.

Easier than thinking.

There are still a few people still 'in the cave' so to speak when it comes to critical thinking skills and looking beyond the rhetoric.
