Look up the definition of 5th generation warfare This isn't news. Understanding how people behave and adopting policies designed to encourage them towards desired outcomes is now a science. The real question is whether those outcomes are wise, or not. It is the job of government to deliver what the people need, and not what they want.

What difference does that make? I would have thought commercial funders (or Foundations like those of Bill Gates) would not welcome negative publicity. So they must see valuable work being done). It matters to you when whatever is being pushed is funded by conservatives or is a site pushing conservative views. What you regard as 'valuable work' is about as creditable as your reputation on here. The people you support weren't interested in objectivity they were used to push an agenda that was based upon the very worse possible scenarios. That isn't truth....it's manipulation...Mr former Sales and Marketing manager.

Their funding was minimal and their motivation purely altruistic. The ridiculous accusations levelled at people like Gates and Soros beggars belief. The idea that places like Imperial College would allow their research to be deliberately skewed by funders is cynicism of the highest order. Edited by Wisbech Eagle (04 Feb 2022 1.11pm)

Just how in the hell do you know what is altruistic, part altruistic and what isn't? Gates is funding medical, journalist and virus related medical and academic related organizations all over the west.....As for Soros...I'm not even going to bother, it's as long as an elephant's trunk If the origin of money was of no import then a good number of convictions and cases would have to be dropped.....and as stated you have no issues pointing it out when it's from the right. Edited by Wisbech Eagle (04 Feb 2022 1.11pm) Gates himself said he makes a 20x return on his vaccine investments. Do you not remember what he got up to at Microsoft? Are you not aware of what he was getting up to in India and Africa with his wonderful vaccine trials that killed and sterilised many? The man has made his living out of cornering entire markets in the must underhand ways and that;'s exactly what he's trying to do now.

If the systems and laws governing your life can't be changed via a democratic process available to the citizen/subject then democracy is a falsehood. And in truth it was always fuzzy and it's always been controlled....I just didn't realise just how much until recent years.

Churchill believed it, and he was neither a communist nor a fascist:- "The first duty of an MP is to do what he [or she] thinks … is right and necessary for the honour and safety of Great Britain. His second duty is to his constituents, of whom he is the representative but not the delegate.” MPs together form the government, but Parliament is sovereign. Parliament consists of MPs who are representatives. Representatives whose job it is to decide what we need. Not delegates who deliver what we want.

Oh so you are a fan of Churchill now.....I very much doubt you would agree with him on much else. This is thinking of eighty years ago. The thinking in similar to what fascist or communists would say. The only difference is that we can vote out one version of very limited choices who all have to bow to unelected forces.....still the case in Churchill's time but less powerful.

Edited by Stirlingsays (04 Feb 2022 1.18pm) Those who believe this kind of nonsense have clearly been impacted by the large amount of misinformation which is spread these days on the net. Gates has no need to make any more money. His Foundation works at arms length and has done wonderful work in directly supporting projects, rather than going via corrupt governments. Soros likewise has no need to make any more money. He sees the way politics has declined, especially in his home country, and is using his wealth to counter that. I am happy that the right find that uncomfortable. Good on him! I sometimes wonder that if people like Madame Teresa were alive today they would be vilified by people spreading evil rumours.
