Yesterday advice to exercise locally was given. Personally I think its logical. If you drive you might crash or hit someone and ambulances are at a premium right now! Also cannot see why cycling atm seems a good idea for the same reason. I get that local streets are boring but are people really not able to sacrifice their usual spaces for 3 months or so? Stay home, protect yourselves, protect others save lives, protect the nhs. 'Yours truly' is 67 and my dear wife is 66,indeed not that far adrift of 70! People are very conscious of social-distancing when out walking and queueing and of course shops only allow a certain number of customers in at a time. I have noticed though that in certain establishments one can get quite near to others in the aisles, however some stores have introduced spacing measures between them.

You demonstrate your inability to follow logic as usual. COVID-19 can be passed on through poor hygiene, Muslims may be proportionately worse affected therefore Muslims on average are less hygienic. Following that brain of Britain logic our Prime Minister is a dirty b******. Oh, wait, ... No, thats the grand ol duke of york!

So if zillions of people go to the Welsh mountains and some fall ill, the local supports aren't available. But also one or two small incidents can help move the virus across the country faster and allow a new local outbreak. This is also interesting People with more 'touchy' cultures, who live with multiple generations and who share food are potentially more at risk. Perhaps partially explains the current Spain situation (or maybe the Spanish are simply unhygienic). Maybe us cold fish ethnic Brits will be less badly affected than e.g. our latin counterparts.

These are topics that interest the forum, as do others. They are national talking points. Multiple threads on the same topic is a valid criticism.
Interest the forum, hmm. Maybe worth doing a count of the number of people that participate in such debates as against the total number of people that are current members of the HOL. Still, he who shouts loudest.

Still, he who shouts loudest. Perhaps you should take a look at the thread's views before you make such announcements. As for he who shouts loudest....It's people like you who'd take away people's voices. If you like that environment perhaps you should go back to your former paymasters in the middle east. Edited by Stirlingsays (28 Mar 2020 3.35pm) I never got paid from the Middle East, I was expat in each of the four countries in which I worked. I don't recall taking away your voice, I'll have a look in my cupboard just in case though. If one thing has been learned from WW2 surely it is not to let hate speech spiral out of control to the point where people believe: 1) One group of people is stealing their jobs, their women and their future So yes, after much soul searching I do think misinformation and relentless attacks on 'outsider' groups should be blocked. How did you feel about Abu Hamza al-Mazri?
