Wissie did say that " I have no information on the situation elsewhere" my experience of my local hospital is the same as his, but please don't let our experience get in the way of your agenda!

As I said I am merely reporting what I observe locally and am told by my wife, and her colleagues. Apparently in some wards more than half the nursing staff are newly arrived from Africa. There does seem to be a disparity between the NHS figures and those in the link I provided, which I believe originated from the ONS. I wonder if the NHS figures alone don't tell the whole story. Firstly, because the majority of support staff, of which there are many from health care assistants, porters, receptionists, catering, cleaning, clerical, human resources etc etc are indeed British. It's the clinical staff, the doctors and nurses, where the vacancies can only be filled from overseas. Secondly, that site only records direct NHS employees and not those working for it via agencies. A growing number of international nurses are working for agencies. That though is just the NHS which, although our biggest employer, isn't the only one.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

A favourite ploy of Lefties. just like getting Messi from Argentina to the Premier League....hospitals can recruit who they like. you did not mention who is using all the Hospital service ? if you think its only Nigel from Crawley ? he who has paid tax all his life ? then you are deluded.

That makes no sense at all. What emotional blackmail is involved in reporting the truth? It's also a fact that the newly arrived immigrants tend to be younger and, on average, use significantly less NHS resource than the existing population who tend to be older, in many cases much older.

All migrants being accommodated in hotels etc have access to a GP twice a week, fact. Can any poster on here claim they have the same access? Aren’t people complaining about lack of access(Steeley)?

This thread isn't though about the illegals being accommodated in hotels. It's about migration as a whole, most of which is completely legal.

And do you think gangsters from all over east Europe aren't? You speak from your personal experience and I'll speak from mine.
