Maybe it's just me. But although we maybe haven't played to his strengths (by which I asume you mean crossing the ball straight onto his head on the penalty spot),surely we should expect a 30m striker on 120k a week to he able to score with his feet too? He's had 22 very good chances this season, quite a few one on ones with the keeper and scored 2. So although we may not be playing to his strengths, surely we should expect a lot better?

He used to score goals like this: I don't think he has the confidence to do so at the moment and would probably just blast it against the keepers legs.

Completely agree, all this system chat might explain him not scoring 17 again, but it doesn't explain the clear cut chances he is spurning week in week out. We are actually making decent chances, he has missed a league high chances.

agreed! no where near forgiven The man's a f****n liability has been all season, we wouldn't be in this dogfight if he did his job and that's scoring goals. If it wasn't for injuries he would have gone last transfer window, we won't go down the rest of the team have got alot of fight and quality to stay in the PL. If it turns out we do end up in the championship next season, it's Benteke's own fault, not the rest of the team but his. Call me whatever i don't give a flying f*** it just does my head in when some Hol'ers see that Benteke is doing nothing wrong. He's proved it by underperforming and non-contributing displays in every match, i feel sorry for SP having to pay him his wages every week it's sickening what Benteke's doing and it's got to end this summer not good enough for Palace and it's fan's.

Not from me...especially if he sticks his fingers in his ears again.. Christian is NOT being arrogant with this gesture. He is in fact paying homage to the Benny Hill classic ‘Ting A Ling A Loo’; the B-side of ‘Ernie - The Fastest Milkman in the West’. “Remember what old Gladstone said in eighteen-ninety-two.... So leave him alone!
