Todays first download is a gig rehearsal by David Bowie that was recorded in Vancouver, Canada in 1976. The sound quality of this bootleg is un-be-lievable - proabably the best quality Bowie boot I've heard - top notch sound. On this rehearsal you hear Bowie talking to the band how he wants to end one song and intro the next .... he often misses out lyrics and listens to the band play (his backing band are superb).. he then continues and finishes the song... The tracklisting is excellent and this is thoroughly recommended for any fans of the thin white duke.... a really top quality bootleg..... Here is a download link I found for :- Live Rehearsals, Pacific National Exhibition Coliseum, Vancouver, BC, Canada 2.2.76 - David Bowie (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting: Disc One: Disc Two: Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 141MB (Including Artwork) Back Cover : [Link] Enjoy! Todays second download is a set by Huey Lewis and the News that was recorded in 1984 at the Kabuki Theater, San Francisco. This is only the second bootleg by this band that I've posted and the sound on this one is top notch. The gig was recorded and broadcast by Westwood One radio network and broadcast on FM radio. This band never got the recognition they deserved - they were a really tight unit, all top notch musicians... if you like Huey Lewis then this is thoroughly recommended...... Here is a download link I found for :- Live at the Kabuki Theater, San Francisco, CA 1984 - Huey Lewis and the News (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : 01: The heart of rock & roll 5:23 Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 92.7MB (Including Artwork and Tracklisting) The Line-up : Enjoy! Todays extra download is a bootleg by former Rolling Stones guitarist Mick Taylor which was recorded in Philadelphia PA in 1987. This is in superb quality and is a wicked set. This is the first bootleg by Mick that I've posted - I'm sure others will follow in due course. This is a great set and Mick plays some great guitar. Mick has played both in studio and live with some top artists...Dylan, Stones, Jack Bruce, John Mayall's Bluesbreakers... and loads more.. he has also composed film scores. This is thoroughly recommended... a wicked bootleg.. Here is a download link I found for :- Live at the Chestnut Cabaret, Philadelphia PA 6.6.87 - Mick Taylor (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : 01 Giddy Up Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 143MB (Including Artwork) Enjoy!

Todays first download is a bootleg by The Band that was recorded over 3 nights 28/31.12.71 at the Academy of Music in New York. This is in superb quality and is a wicked set. It was from these gigs that the album "Rock Of Ages" was taken - but that album does not contain all the songs that were played during the gigs. This boot has everything... this is the real Rock Of Ages..... If you like The Band - and I've had a few requests for their stuff - then you will want this ... this is superb.... Here is a download link I found for :- "Academy of Outtakes" Live at the Academy of Music, New York, NY 28/31.12.71 - The Band (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : CD 1: CD 2: UltraSonic Rehearsal - Long Island NY December 1971 Hidden track (not shown on back over) Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 321MB (Including Artwork) Enjoy!
