Afternoon good sir, could you possibly see if this is still around
Deep Purple - BBC in concert recorded this day in 1972 at The Paris Theatre in London.
Highway Star / Strange Kind Of Woman / Smoke On The Water / Never Before / Maybe I'm A Leo / Lazy / Space Truckin'. Encore: Lucille.
Recorded by the BBC on 8-track,for this show, Purple played a set list consisting almost entirely of the new album MACHINE HEAD which was due for release on the 25th March 1972.
"Never Before" was performed to publicise its release as a single and "Smoke On The Water" was included as a one-off for this show, to promote the new album.
9/3/1972 a BBC Concert as a pre-cursur to the up & coming Machine Head Album released later that year.
Tamuchly & more Cronx for you.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.
