No they aren't. They are our national broadcaster, and the face of the UK around the world, with a proud and well deserved reputation for objective and truthful reporting on all kinds of subjects.

That those on the disaffected right don't get that doesn't change anything. All it does is demonstrate their own prejudices.

To use a football analogy, the BBC is to reporting as Clattenberg was to refereeing. On the face of it, it looks ok but when you dig into it you just know there is something wrong!
