A "14 year old" apparently. If it wasn't so sad it'd be ridiculous. Like when Rodney Trotter won his competition but had to join the Groovy Gang to keep his prize.
Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry. |

In Africa they have a test to check your age. They used it recently for the under 18 afcon. Seems to work quite well but don’t want to get in the way of uman rights !

It's funny because I have been telling people on Palace message boards for years that there was an impending migrant crisis and this government, the people tasked with protecting our country, hasn't prepared for it. Meanwhile, Labour wants to make political gain from it rather than support the government in a time of impending national and global crisis. The system is broke and it needs an overhaul.

I'm not sure that this is the best solution however I have yet to hear a better idea from all the vocal opposition. At best you get the usual BS "we must work more closely with our European partners" etc. If Labour want any credibility on this topic then they need to provide an alternate solution whilst opposing this one. Saying it wont work is not going to convince the voters, this coming from a party that opposes deporting Jamaican murders / rapists and pedophiles etc.

My wife is a nurse, so I have more knowledge on the situation within our local hospital than most. I also go there every day she works, to drop her and pick her up. It's really obvious how quickly the staffing has changed in the last 3 years. So many "international" nurses, mostly African. The EU ones have left. There is a desperate shortage of doctors. I have no information on the situation elsewhere, but imagine it must be similar. There is a crisis in finding suitable accommodation for the staff, with many having to travel a long way to reach their job. What the cost must be is frightening. Health care is by far not the only area short of people. Restaurants and pubs here are restricting opening hours due to staff shortages. The idea that we can reduce immigration in the short to medium term seems a pipe dream, and whether ever, questionable. So how long will it be before the myth of the major driver of Brexit is realised by those wooed by the lies of the Leave campaign? Immigration has increased and not reduced. It's just coming from elsewhere and illegals, whilst a major issue, are actually a small proportion of the total. For some detail:-
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |
