Britain was not the only one to conquer large parts of the world. For such a small country to do this they would have needed vast funding. Just like Germany were given by banks and other sources that turned them into a superpower. The point being steely is the invisible hand and agenda behind these events. Britain was chosen to rule the world. Next USA and soon China.
The end game being an end to sovereignty. Britain doesn't look like Britain anymore. The same can be said of many other countries flooded with new arrivals. This mass migration has been done quickly and with heavy numbers as to not allow assimilation. Common sense should tell us that.
Look how many people were happy to be ruled by the E U. The same hand is allowing mass migration.L So before we start thinking of ourselves as clever, woke and righteous. Being in favour of this is being in favour of the same people who had the empire. Turkeys voting for Christmas.

Also I get the sense that many do gooders believe that the general working class did really well out of the empire. They did not. Kids up north walked to school with no shoes. We had rationing for a time after 2 brutal wars and a huge amount of debt. Britan enjoyed prosperity from the 60s from the hard working men and women of this country and the help from a managble group of new arrivals. They don't owe anything to anyone - and what thanks did they get from the people who hate our country. None, except to be called racist for voting against a European federal superstate that would have been Hitlers wet dream. Some people it would seem have no shame or memory

Bit like Karl Marx, having been given sanctuary in London, sitting in the British Library, plotting the downfall of the country that helped him. Similar to left/liberal hypocrites retreating to the likes of Cornwall and other still recognisable English enclaves, the better to maintain a homogeneous culture while pronouncing on the benefits of diversity.

You mean the decent peace loving citizens from all sections of society who came together in a moving show of solidarity in opposition to hatred? Citizens who offered love and reassurance to those who felt threatened? I saw no thugs or rampaging. Just togetherness and determination that the normally silent majority won’t allow a hateful minority to control the streets. That one or two were there with Palestinian flags was hardly surprising. What’s happening in Gaza is of concern to many and of deep concern to some. You take a pleasure though and gaslighting the other posters on here don't you? Peaceful communities against hate !? I didn't see any violence. As for the Palestinian flag. This flag was introduced by the P.L.O. it spawned from a terrorist organization. Yet, people waving them are not cold terrorist sympathisers . Anybody who waves this flag is on the side of Islamic terrorism.

So a few stupid people change the text of the overall message from last night? Just as a comparatively few within our overall population deciding to riot over the last week or so change the fact that, as a nation, we are tolerant and inclusive? There’s always some. It’s not a perfect world.

What does the fact that the Socialist Workers Party decided to join in the counter protests last night prove? It would have been surprising if they didn’t! It doesn’t mean that all those involved were members of the SWP or sympathise with their politics. It simply means that in opposing right wing thuggery many people are aligned. I have no common ground with the SWP other than that I detest far right attitudes.
