Ridiculous. And who supposedly works with the players week in week out? Who’s responsibility is it to ‘coach’ the players? Who is it that selects the players? Who implements the game plan? Who is it the continually plays the same players that we can all see cannot string two passes together? Come on, I get your both feet in the Roy in camp but at least try to be objective. Buck stops with the manager, always has always will. He’s has/had ball playing players but has casted them aside. Don’t pretend Roy’s been let down by the players. Well I look at Roy and his demeanour does raise a question mark about if he can get a tune out of some players. If you look at Klopp he rages like a nuclear war head is coming out of his arse!

Yes other Managers have respect for him and rightly so - but that's because he's bloody 73 years old and been in football Management for 44 years and "has been" and that's the real crux of it "has been". They are certainly not all shaking his hand saying what a great job he is doing now..!! Wake up and smell the coffee..!! Jeez Not much respect shown by Rodgers to Hodgson or palace today with the team he put out was there! We basically played their carabao cup side!

“” He’s has/had ball playing players but has casted them aside. Don’t pretend Roy’s been let down by the players.”” Blimey! Varying degrees of blaming the manager or not on here. But do you seriously think Roy sends the team out to play like it did first half? Yes the buck stops with the manager but players can also play scared, hide from the ball, pass badly no matter how much they passed well in training, act like a spoilt child, mistime tackles etc, that’s football Whatever your views on Roy are up to you, but not to blame the players or to say they have let down Roy even just a little bit seems bizarre to me

What so the greatest and most successful Manager in Premier League history would just leave it to his coaches at half time if things were all going "t@ts up"..!! Get real..!! Read what I posted again ; Who said that he '' melted into the background '' ? - well only you - so I have to assume you were in the dressing room. Ray Lew is a big voice and he's Roy's trusted right hand man. Of course he's got a contribution to make. And what is this '' tactical genius '' bulls*** you are spouting ? Have a go at Hodgson all you like, but at least stick to the facts and not just play to your own agenda. Then try responding properly instead of coming out with just more garbage. But I don't think you have it in you, do you ?

Most of the Leicester players who appeared today play most of the time. They have a better team and squad than us and some. Their owners invest more money. As of last season, Palace were 16th in the net spending table. So little investment, but Roy is to blame!

As a "has been" the lowest position we have been in since Feb 2018 is 16th, that was for only one week. This was the season De Boer completely destabalised the playing side of the club.

The notion some have on here that all, or even most, adult, senior professional footballers can be made significantly better than they are by a manager is amazing to me. Why do you think clubs sign new players?
