Except yours Of course not. The only time our opinions really count is at a GE when they are all equal. Thanks be.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry. |

Anyone know why Tommy isn’t trying to claim asylum in the nearest safe country to him? Go back to your soy latte and order yourself some Stormzy tickets.

No. I am under the impression that it is for those who make assertions to prove them. I have tried to help you but cannot find anything, so now it's over to you. If you read this then you can find it. I have no more idea where to look. There you go again. You are not the final arbiter on anything. Agree or disagree and if you can disprove anything said then have at it. Apparently you can’t.

He is a professional diplomat who told the truth as he saw it, in confidence and bluntly. The truth as shared by the vast majority in the UK, and I think, the USA too. His personal feelings about the EU etc are irrelevant to his capacity to do his job. However once again they are also the views of most of his countrymen too, in my opinion.
How could he keep his job?

Go back to your soy latte and order yourself some Stormzy tickets. I'll do that if you turn off the Internet for a day and go venture outside for a bit. Edited by DanH (11 Jul 2019 10.19am)

Or in a Referendum when they're not. Those that were voted into Parliament know best in that case. Those that we vote into Parliament have the duty as our representatives to do what they believe is in our best interests and not simply to give us what we want. That's why referendums are not part of our democracy.

How could he keep his job? Don't be ridiculous! He did his job. It wasn't him who leaked his confidential advice. Every diplomat is at risk from leaks.

Don't be ridiculous! He did his job. It wasn't him who leaked his confidential advice. Every diplomat is at risk from leaks. Since leaks and espionage are commonplace in his line of work, one would have thought that he would be more careful with his language. Since the damage is done, it hard to see how he could continue in a role that requires diplomacy.
