]quote=eagleman13;3804597] Seeing as a few peeps are still talking about Cooper, please correct me if I'm wrong, but, I thought after Rodgers had turned us down(if we were ever in for him), we/Parish decided against Cooper, due to wage/transfer kitty. Actually, the shortlist was drawn up using a sifting process borrowed from a beauty contest, ruling him out. I have no idea, and your suggestion sounds believable enough to either be true or the result of a decently constructed but vindictive, made up rumour. I still feel as though the intentions and therefore actions of the board are still pretty much unknown. I’m therefore reluctant to buy such stories and have begun to take a stance of accepting complete ignorance until such time an announcement is made. Very open to theories and suggestions however Nick, my apologies, I've just manged to see/read your post . . .
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

Paddy, nailed on
“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn |

I really don't understand where this belief that Paddy is the second coming has come from. I understand that towards the end of his playing career he was kept on at the club due to his leadership abilities and he is regarded well as a coach but those attributes do not solely make him a good manager.

Yeah, I think it's a lovely thought for the romantic (I am one) but seems lacking in any real substance???

Am not sure anyone on here has the slightest idea about Paddy's suitability
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

Jedi and McCarthy two players who really represented all I've ever desired to see from players in Red and Blue. Both competency in their positions and their hearts on their sleeves. Whether they can translate that into football management or not will be seen but if so I'd love them in the dugout at Selhurst in a new capacity.

One day maybe.
