So you actually feel nineteen points from sixteen games with the actual squad we have is reason enough to say to our manager Feck Off! I personally feel he deserves a huge massive medal for putting up with the players at his disposal, he's been a class act from the start and you can see very clearly what all the other players and managers think of him before and after every single game ..they all just queue up to talk to him, he doesn't deserve to read these horrible comments on here.

Do you really think he reads the comments on here after the game? After watching all that $hite close up he probably drinks a few bottles of wine to help him forget.

Roy will be happier after that game, a point hard earned after a couple of shocking performances. Still plenty to do of course, starting with a good performance against Sheffield United.
One very irritating thing with Roy is his use of substitutes - today was he holding on, going for the win, sitting on the fence? No idea. It did prove that Jimmy Mac is more or less done at this level.
Appreciate the point!

Agreed.

As I have posted many times on here, Hodgson is doing the job he's paid to do under the conditions imposed on him by Parish and Co.

The question as to whether someone else can get more out of the current squad is the main issue I think.

There's only one way to find out !

I agree.

I really don’t think parish cares about the playing style anymore, he did but him being burnt by FDB has put that to bed. He’s already said he views himself as an owner rather than a fan so as long as we scrape over the line each year everything is fine. Roy’s perfect for that. At least until Wilf leaves anyway.

Resigned myself to the same eat, sleep ,repeat of Roy’s tenure for the foreseeable future.

Today’s result means the whole thing is reset again. We’ll go through the same Groundhog Day performances over and over.

Thoroughly depressing watching palace.

Always the same people, always the same mantra....

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Agree. But we all know the difficulty in getting those sort of players over the line. Best signing since Cabaye IMO

He shows it can be done and with him it increases our potential to encourage others to follow because as we have all seen in the last month or so we are more entertaining to watch with him.

He definitely doesn't read the press.

Or at least he used to ignore it.

We've got a "gentleman" at the helm who in his younger days, flew half way round the world to play football in South Africa. Ignoring all the sanctions and boycotts because "he was desperate to play". He built a long illustration and mostly fraudulent career on the back of it.

I'm sure Nelson Mandela and his comrades would say their prison sentences and persecution was worth it, if Roy got to kick a ball around.

Maybe he was just oblivious to global news.

What..!!

You've got to be kidding me..!!

Yes other Managers have respect for him and rightly so - but that's because he's bloody 73 years old and been in football Management for 44 years and "has been" and that's the real crux of it "has been".

They are certainly not all shaking his hand saying what a great job he is doing now..!!

Wake up and smell the coffee..!!

Jeez

Reminiscent of the second Alan Smith era where Houghton regularly had to give the players a kick up the arse at half time.

After Liverpool and Villa they should be chomping at the bit.

Saved by Zaha again.

And Guaita.

I see, our manager depresses you ..not the ability of our players to pass the ball to each other.
