Not sure why it’s brought up if you aren’t making a point or asking a question. Trump’s trick was he realised that there are loads of people that don’t listen to the genuine concerns of the working classes, and constantly denounce anyone that disagrees with them with echoed rhetoric. I wouldn’t call it a trick. I’d call it a failure on the part of the establishment that represented them. No one seems to have stopped to ask why are people voting for Trump, they’d probably not tell you they are voting Trump for fear of being vilified. They can’t all be stupid and racist. Yet the liberals who claim to be more intelligent haven’t come forward with a policy that will address people’s concerns. They keep banging on about the need to bring people together, but I’ve never heard one ever say that they might need to concede some of their policies to make that happen, They just want to “educate” others to think like them. What policies has trump implemented, to help the working class here? He passed a tax cut for rich people, and is trying to destroy Obamacare (which is popular with a clear majority of Americans) simply because it is something Barack Obama achieved. It seems he is going to be a 1 term president, so I guess he didn’t do enough for those folks after all the rhetoric. It’s clear why people voted for trump. Part of it is his racist anti immigrant dog whistles about migrant caravans and Mexican rapists. Another part is his “drain the swamp” schtick, which, given the amount of criminal indictments around him in the last 4 years is the definition of irony. Another piece of the puzzle is his “he talks like my mates down the pub” low brow verbal diarrhea. He managed to paint himself as anti establishment, but the American electorate have seemingly seen through that this time around. He is a billionaire narcissist sociopath, he ain’t out there for the common man, he’s out there for Donald Trump.
Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha. |

How much will Biden be able to affect if the Republicans retain control of the Senate? He has already said he will reach across the aisle to try to find working consensuses. Just as Presidents have traditionally done. It's only Trump who thinks he knows everything.

Trump is going nowhere. If he "loses" it will be a fix. He will stay put and no one is going to shift him. Yeah good luck with that. The dems tried the legal route in 2000 - as long as there’s nothing untoward (no reason to suspect there is currently) he’s gone.
Did you know? 98.0000001% of people are morons. |

His presidency will be studied and poured over for decades. He is the worst president ever to serve in office, and he will be a 1 term president. These phony lawsuits are simply to keep some kind of feint hope that they can get re-elected. The idiot wants to count late votes in Nevada and Arizona, but not in Pennsylvania. So mail In votes are fake in states you are losing, but in states you are winning they are legit. Laughable tripe.

The first step was to get rid of Trump. The immediate issue will be to handle the pandemic sensibly. Next will be to restore some common sense and decency in the post Trump era, including with Congress. When Harris takes over is relatively unimportant.

It possibly matters to people who’ve voted for him and then find he might step aside. The fact that despite almost total media derision and during what looks like a very poor reaction to the pandemic that Trump can increase his share of the vote doesn’t bode well.
