6 strikers for 5 million quid apiece would be way more useful than 30 million quid for broken benteke. wanna go posh ? get 3 strikers at 10 million each.

I dread Roy's pre match press conference, when we find out who got injured in training this week. Has to be a reason for it, pitch, training methods, I Dony know, but it can't just be bad luck.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'From Zero to Hero' by Midlands Eagle So hyperthetically, let’s say Benteke’s groin strain last week was just an excuse to rest him and let him get his head back in order. Roy knows that everything is going against the poor guy at the moment - fair to say he is probably not the most loved striker at Palace! Could Roy be thinking, next week against Brighton he has a chance to make amends? He plays, scores two goals and we go on to win the match! It could be the most incredible bit of motivation for the guy! Sorry, may be I am just looking into the whole situation too much... But what a golden opportunity to go from zero to hero.

I have met in once and he really was a very genuine man and enjoyed talking about Palace. My personal view is no Palace player deserves that kind of abuse. The best way to motivate is to show compassion, encourage and support. Sorry, I am a little older than some of the members on here....and expect the usual abuse for stating my opinion. Saturday could be a big day for him! Good luck CB
