Your commitment to a healthy lifestyle is commendable. It’s a brave man who can force down extra beer before switching to the shorts.

I am committed to not living for ever to
1 not be a burden on my family or the state and
2 not be absolutely potless when the money runs out or is given away to feckless oxygen thieves. So leaving me unable to drink Stella and eat kebabs

If you made your debut appearance on the Lambeth/Wandsworth border in 1959 there’s a good chance we were separated at birth.

8 years later but you may be on the money for our outlook on life. My nan and grandad did live in Wandsworth though so the similarities are more than a guess

Their attempts to change and control words, language and meaning are very much like Orwell's Newspeak.

So who is writing the plan, where is it agreed, and where can we see it?

That many educated people believe that society progresses doesn't mean they are working together to a co-ordinated agenda.

It's a conspiracy theory. Nothing more or less.

The source comes from alt right circles, though it could have come from the left as well as at its heart it's just a rudimental description of global led governance that both broadly agree on.

It's almost amusing that only one tier has any democratic element to it at all. What matters most though is where power sits....especially financially and of course socially.

Now there's a surprise!! You would have never suspected that given the level of bias in the piece.

That the right believe these things is nothing new. Whether the "left" does as well is an open question, but it wouldn't surprise me as their judgement is just as suspect.

That some regard this nonsense as factual is typical of the way distortion is traded as information in the internet age.

Just look at the various policy statements from the likes of the BBC, National Trust, Universities and political and pressure groups.
As for 'many educated people', as Orwell said: "There are some ideas so wrong that only a very intelligent person could believe in them."

Wissie the covid conversation is not left or right.
This mistake will cause issues. Its about personal choice and should remain so. I don't agree with Stirling and you and himself know that. I don't beleive him not wanting a vaccine will affect me any more than a vaccinated person. It's a choice about chance. personally his chance of copping it from covid is worse than mine and yours. Its his choice tbh. I don't buy the infection greater from unvaccinated line. I buy the line you can get ill and have more chance of dying without the vaccine. I'm protected by the very fact I am vaccinated and boosted. I want Stirling to get vaccinated but if he doesn't and cops it I hope he doesn't haunt me unless it include 6 nos for next week. Always a positive in anything
