Happy New Year. (I’m not Maple but thought I’d wish you all a Happy New Year and thanks for providing me with a lot of amusement, thought and frustration in equal measure this past year). Edited by Helmet46 (31 Dec 2021 9.47am) You have probably summed up HOL perfectly, have a good one. 3 points would be nice

Of course the universities, the media, the political and pressure groups are highly organised. Observing their words and deeds is evidence. Their attempts to pervert and control language and the so called 'narrative' are of course accompanied by denials from themselves and their fellow travellers like yourself. They aren't though operating together in a structured, organised way with the objective of changing the language. Their organisation is for very different reasons. Language changes naturally, through usage, and not because of some master plan devised by an authoritarian state.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

Maple, is it not apparent he is one of the world’s leading experts in nutrition. You and everyone else know nothing, apart from how to use punctuation and a bit of civility. Can he confirm if a large donar with SALAD is one of your 5 a day

The source comes from alt right circles, though it could have come from the left as well as at its heart it's just a rudimental description of global led governance that both broadly agree on. It's almost amusing that only one tier has any democratic element to it at all. What matters most though is where power sits....especially financially and of course socially. Can he confirm if a large donar with SALAD is one of your 5 a day I can confirm that salad in ANY kebab is an abomination; it gets warm, takes up space and stands a good chance of being violently rejected by any digestive system which has absorbed the minimum requirement of Belgian deliciousness - considerably more than 4 pints which as a serving suggestion is akin to one chip.

Leave out the lettuce and salad in kebabs is okay. Raw Cabbage and onion going warm is alright. Lettuce is mostly pointless anyway apart from in a few sandwiches and burgers.
