I doubt helicopters could make any significant difference even if it was safe for them to fly in a war zone. It has, I think, been done by road and the only way that can be done is for the bombardment to stop.

It is somewhat ironic to listen to Biden and co pleading to Israel to not kill civilians and talk about 'indiscriminate bombing' while at the same time on Christmas day, Israeli broadcaster Channel 12 reported that 244 US cargo planes and 20 ships have transported over 10,000 tonnes of arms and military equipment to the Israeli military since the beginning of the war. The US should just come out and be honest.....but that's what you get from modern day western leaderships, they cry out in pain as they bomb. Edited by Stirlingsays (27 Dec 2023 3.55am)

I would ask if it is so unfair on the ground why the Palestinians don’t shop and stop Hamas and start to grow a pair. Even over here the poll tax riots did something and that was about money, not survival.
