'Voted' early. Or rather when in and drew three lines over my ballot paper. And to my surprise, walked out feeling exhilarated! Totally unexpected reaction. Now tomorrow I might feel different, and once upon a time I would have been my harshest critic for taking such an action but today...it just felt right. I fully accept arguments about how puerile such a gesture is but as things stand, am still buzzing. f*** Democracy. Three lions would have been more topical.

I can assure you they don't get a good rate because up to and including the recent Police Commissioner elections, I've been a poll clerk myself for the last 5 years. I finally decided 'enough is enough' primarily due to the number of knob-heads you have to deal with; their knob-headery made worse by the requirement for them to bring photo ID. We were paid about £200 for the day. You had to arrive at the Polling Station at 6am and couldn't leave to about 11pm so it was a long day. I always find the public were fine you got the occasional idiot but nothing bad. Maybe it was the area you were working in.

Reform of course. Labour are going to be sh1te and we all know it....More neo/social liberalism and more decline and failure. However, that's who the normies are going to vote for and the blame will lie with them.

I did consider Reform and do like their contract/manifesto but decided they have not done enough to earn my vote. If Farage continues the pressure then I am all ears but the cucking by HnH was just to much for me. If they had shown more balls over that then maybe but instead they just folded. I need more these days. Edited by Matov (04 Jul 2024 9.01pm)

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

Wanted the Tories wiped out. 130 seats is 130 to many. 13 for Reform...being interesting to see how that pans out. SNP result seems the worst.

No surprises really in the exit poll. Was convinced it would be even worse for the Tories. Still we can still hope. Off to bed. Usually stay up until the early hours on these big votes but this one... Just feels meh. Labour have the majority they have based on nobody seemingly liking what they have to say about anything, merely just loathing (with good reason) the Tories. And still cannot help but shake this notion we have all been played.

Lotus Eaters, who are a website and pro Reform are currently out doing the C4's viewing figures. In five years time this country could be quite different because are going to see just what this modern day Labour party are all about. And I don't think it's what they currently believe.
