They all seem fair until the corruption creeps in, nice ideas but greed always wins through, I don"t put myself in any group, other people do, but I usually get riled by who ever is in charge. as they all get you in the end, just this lot take the biscuit!

Political parties are just a conduit for the wealth above them that lobbies, funds and influences their politics....he who pays the piper chooses the tune. As a social conservative I didn't agree with most of his politics but Corbyn was a grass roots selection that actually threatened that hegemony, which is why the system ensured he never succeeded, because they couldn't control him. Though from a considerably different angle (though not really my guy) Trump was a similar threat to that system with his promises to clear the swamp and threatening 'carnage' on the system (Bannon's words).....they were shocked when he won and immediately set out to limit his power and Trump ended up falling in line....because it was all mostly for affect. Trump is more an 'Alf Garnett' figure, happy to finger point and moan but he doesn't actually have the balls to do anything major to the system himself. Edited by Stirlingsays (22 Jun 2022 5.13am)

Of 32000 areas, 46% had no police prosecutions for burglary in over 3 years- yes-THREE YEARS! Could this have anything to do with the CONservatives cutting police numbers by 21000 in their time in charge I wonder? Or can even our most ardent blu noses admit that after 12 years, we cant blame Jim Callaghan or Nye Bevin surely? Is this what was promised in the manifesto I wonder?
