Progress, what progress? I’d say we’ve regressed in the stadium, no? The HF are correct in that the atmosphere is declining with the current setup.

It's not very many is it? Doesn't really show much support for HF when you take into account our entire fanbase and that the HF and their supporters have been pushing the campaign hard.

We’ll see. The longer this rumbles on with an atmosphere Fulham or Wigan can better it’ll keep growing, because most don’t want that, until you’re left with 1,000 who claim they don’t mind.

There were times I sat at the back of the Arthur and the made more noise than block B. And that’s not to be controversial, it was a general observation I made at the time sitting in both places across the season. Imagine the Arthur coming out and saying actually we wanna occupy this segment of seats because we’re louder than everyone else and then to release this stuff that either do it now, regardless of other fans, or we’ve lost an opportunity that will never come back? The point is, supporting palace means different things to different individuals. And I just still cannot get behind this idea that a group, an albeit fantastic group on the most part, can dictate to others what they should have to do. I know people, for example, who attended every single game last season - home and away. The HF haven’t ever done that, which is also fine. But don’t those supporters have an as legitimate, if not more legitimate claim to special reservations? What if they sit in Block E and have done for many years and don’t want to move? Ahh sorry mate, you may of covered more distance for the club, spent more of your hard-earned money and done it for a longer period of time. But this takes precedence over you. I just can’t see how people fail to recognise the slippery slope of imposing movement on other fans. As I and others have said many times, if they got proper consent without a witch hunt or pressure being placed on other people. Then that’s great, and let’s be honest they probably would’ve got it eventually. But now we’re in a situation where any resolution is effectively forcing season ticket holders in Block E to move. Because the idea that they can make an unpressurised decision without being accused by the self righteous that they are “not buying into the vision” is now a fantasy. None of this is right. Put the HF by the players tunnel, so they can give 5hlt when the results don't go our way. Give the HF their own away section, so they don't hassle families and pensioners out of their allocated seats. When the songs 'are wrong' by other fan groups, let the stadium sit in silence. 200 'fans' out of 23,000. fcvk 'em I was at Selhurst for the midweek match (in the pl55ing rain) against Crewe in 2003-4, which Palace lost. I didn't boo the players, and I didn't leave early. Nor did I give 5hlt to the other 10K palace fans. I donated money to the HF for displays. I'd like my money back, because my money has been used as leverage to try and secure preferential status for 'the few'.

I want the HF to thrive.

Edited by Mstrobez (05 Sep 2018 4.04pm) The back of the Arfur louder than blocks A,B,C and D. Thanks, I needed a laugh. Block E and any other long term supporter will have the pick of 95% of lower tier seats so calm down a bit. Loads of people want this and/our atmosphere to stay and those with good views will still have them. Stop being so precious over a move across of 2 blocks.

Marketing for this year’s membership campaign and likely new or lapsed fans: I highly doubt Parish is thinking ‘fvck em, they’re not needed. More the opposite.’ (It’s been removed. Too embarrassing for the club) Edited by Rudi Hedman (05 Sep 2018 4.19pm)

But if it was as simple as your attempting to make out, as always, it would already be done.

Thing ive noticed is, apart from the so-called 'statements', nobody from the HF has piped up & said whats going on from their POV. I don't believe that Rudi is part of them just an ardent supporter of them. I know an HF lad as my missus was his(& wife) employer, he is shall we say, non-british. Ive asked him about this & his answer was, he's not allowed to say anything coz their top dogs said so.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

They didn’t bother and were a cause of the mess.
