There are other discussion boards you could access for politics talk. This is for football discussions Matthew, try it sometime.

Isn't this the News and Politics part of the board?

trump is beyond horrible. trump will direct any and all resources to line his pockets. it's just that. lt is not complicated. he's a cheap sales guy. the guy who comes around wanting to fix your windows - that stupid guy.

i'm sad. that you guys are even debating any virtue is horrid.

Apparently he has a portrait of former POTUS Andrew Jackson hanging in his office.
He can't be all bad then.

Trump isn't required to be likeable to be president. Your attitude towards blue collar workers doesn't suggest that you're that likeable either.

As for intelligence, I think you confuse that with education. As for governmental fraud.....evidence please? As that would be impeachable.

what did i say about blue collar people? considering i come from an exclusively, and very long, line of blue collar people, it'd be odd for me to not be in alignment with them. which i am.

plenty of impeachable information available. many people who say it isn't there, just don't want to believe it. be patient on the impeachment thing. it's coming.

Impeachment will only happen if the Dems regain both houses, or the mr Cockwomble goes too far even the majority of repubs wont back him.

Dems stand a great chance of gaining the senate this Novemember, but regaining the house is a long shot.

So, i dont see how he is going to get impeached, and even if he did, we would have 2 years of Pence, who truly believes the world is just 10,000 years old.

What did you say?

To quote, 'he's a cheap sales guy. the guy who comes around wanting to fix your windows - that stupid guy.'.

If you want to slag off your own social class that's fine. However, you call Trump horrible yet you assume the person whose job it is to 'fix your windows' is stupid.

Nice chap aren't you.

As for impeachment, we shall see. I didn't agree with Clinton's impeachment and if it happens (which I doubt) we shall see what the claim is.

not the guy who fixes your window. the guy who goes around town hawking crappy windows who you never see again once you write the check to have them installed. a cheap hustler. has nothing to dow ith social class.

he hasn't implemented sanctions against russia. i mean, how much bigger offense do you need? violating emoluments clause daily. obstruction of justice. etc etc.

if you don't WANT to believe it, i could never convince you, which it seems you don't.

like the other poster said, it isn't happening unless dems take over congress. or it gets so aggregious that the republicans realize they're going to get voted out unless they dump him. we're not going to be there in this election cycle. maybe 2020.

mueller could indict him as well. or the state of NY who have open cases.

the US's biggest ally just had a chemical attack from russia and the guy doesn't say a word about it. not an impeachable offense but part of the narrative of not protecting the country, by aligning with a foreign adversary against our most important ally.

Your political opinions I can stand, if disagree with but also support your free expression of them.

The lack of capitals for sentences however...that most definitely is an impeachable crime.

Perhaps I should have gone with a more modern Russia V UK.

The silence in the US has been deafening from the administration apart from Tillerson who supported the the UK but has suddenly been sacked.

Perhaps we will be sacrificed for a global alliance against a growing Chinese super power.

That's because you're relying on the crappy UK media who don't seem to report Trump's America very accurately...

"US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley said Wednesday the Trump administration stands in absolute solidarity with Great Britain"

[Link]

(I see the BBC has put up a story about it hours after CNN)

I thought it was because Donald is a keen follower of HOL and saw my worries.

I expect Teri applied some pressure or an opportunity; knowing Donald's preferences perhaps a golden shower, but quite a relief with Brexit, current worst economy in the G20, etc.
