This post has been merged from a topic called 'CPFC2010 Statement 19:30 Monday 7th June' by jcreedy The statement made by 2010 was clearly from the heart and written by people who are like us, true fans. It is free from bulls*** and is very refreshing to read. This may well be seen as a milestone moment, not just for Palace but for English football generally. The time when football went back to its roots and became part of the community again, rather than as playthings for rich egos. Edited by Wisbech Eagle (08 Jun 2010 9:35am)

A huge thankyou just doesnt quite cover it...heres to a bright future for the Palace, its board, fans and players and to another 105 years of ups and downs at a truly wonderful football club. So many of us really didnt know what we were losing until we so very nearly lost it but the upside was an amazing unity, heres to that continuing and EVERYONE from chairman to once a year supportes playing a part in OUR clubs stable and exciting future. Totally agree.
