Balham Burner Flag 07 Jul 05 11.58am

Quote ChewyB at 07 Jul 2005 11:52am

I get the train home from work, It starts at Victoria and goes to East Croydon, I get on at Balham, so does that mean that I will not be able to get a train home? I dont know what to do?

FFS calm down!

You will be fine. Just be glad you are not in the city.

I imagine that there will be a service resuming - just sit tight...

If I hear another f*cking muppett "blaming" Tony Blair or using this situation to have a dig at him,I swear I`ll murder someone myself.

Most football teams are temperamental.

That's 90% temper and 10% mental.

Apparently there was a technical scare at East Croydon train station so they have evacuated there.
Listening to the radio apparently this will be going on throughout every station around London.

Blair:
Serious of terrorist attacks in London.
Blair's intention to lead the G8 in the next couple of fhours and get a report on the attack. It is the will of the G8 leaders that the summit is to go ahead without Blair.
Barbaric that it has happened. Reasonably clear it is designed to co-incide with the meeting of the G8. Important that those engaged in terrorism relise, that our determination to protect our way of life, is greater than their determination to destroy parts of the world.

City of London Police, if you are worried about someone being up there, or wanting more information on what has happened phone 02083580101

Whats the latest guys? Could someone post up what Blair says?

Its just that everyone at work and probably alot of other people elsewhere are on the net, getting the latest and slowing everything down!

My sister works part-time in Russell Square/Tavistock place. Can`t get through.Hope this settles down asap.

My sis works there too. She went in approx 0915 but couldn't get near her office - got as far as Hyde Park in a cab until I rang her to tell her to turn back.

Things shut down pretty quickly...

Hope everyone is ok, aint been able to contact my brother-in-law who works at Kings Cross Tube Station, been trying about two hours now, really worried. It's the attack I predicted on here some three years ago, I wish I'd been wrong, I hope the bleeding hearts are happy now! You can blame Blair or Bush, but the blame clearly lies with the terrorists and their sympathisers and excuse mongers!
