I haven't even followed the trial. But I found this article interesting.

This isn't my opinion so don't shoot the messenger

I too have only followed the official mainstream press and tv mantra on this.

The paragraph that i have copied below taken from your attached article is indeed very alarming if accurate. It certainly is different to the mainstream version of 7 deaths and six life changing injuries.

Of critical import to the guilty verdict was a chart showing which nurses were on duty at the time of baby collapses and deaths. It looks damning: in every case, Letby was there. But this was horridly misleading: other casualties occurred when Letby was off duty, but these were not considered in court. Data from a freedom of information request to the hospital showed that 31 infants died in the 12-month period of Letby’s adjudged crimes, yet 23 of these were excluded from the trial (of the eight deaths for which Letby was believed culpable, one case was dropped). In other words, Letby was implicated by circular logic: deaths happened when she was on the unit, so she must have caused them.

If this article version is correct then this country has got a far greater problem to deal with than just the NHS incompetence.

Maybe there will be more to follow. If this article is correct, then surely the whole thing will be getting further attention. An appeal?

Alarming to say the least.

I haven’t posted much on this apart from the beginning when it took a year to find her guilty. That in and of itself was telling enough. She may be guilty as charged or just a scapegoat to take the heat off of others failings or just natural deaths of babies. Not considered are the 1000s surviving who 40 years ago wouldn’t have.
This is like the witch hunters. Burn them, if it gets better your a witch, if it doesn’t your a witch !

I don't think evil, she is mentally ill, there is something dark in her mind that makes her do this, usually there is something in the past but we don't know so far.

The whole life tariff is pure revenge and only shows the state to be as inhuman as they accuse her of being.

She should be in a secure hospital where she can be assessed and we can find out what possessed her.

I don't think there has ever been a case quite like this, imo there is adverse pressure to find guilt in view of the length and cost.

I am conflicted about the whole thing.

yer man 'history debunked' says there is something very fishy about this legal case. Strange gaps in the information, and all that.

I agree the court case went on for far too long and the evidence was scant.

Alongside more baby deaths in the month after she ‘left’ apparently. Strange !

Lucy Letby to appeal against baby murder convictions [Link]

Appealing all convictions. Don’t suppose my personal commentary is needed or any source of mystery .

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!
