Broja last played for Chelsea in November last year.
He has suffered an anterior cruciate ligament rupture which required surgery.

Broja is great but don't think its possible with the injury. Don't think he's even back training again yet.

But Palace do like an injured player....

Broja is strong and quick and can score with both feet and his head but he sustained a serious injury.

We might get him on a free then

For me a good start would be Reiss Nelson and Chuba Akpom, both for free.

Presumably frees command higher wages and as such, if they don't deliver, can unsettle the dressing room? Was that not the case with Meyer and a disgruntled Bolasie? (Nelson 100% and Akpom on his stats would be a oui from me.)

Click bait say we are battling Everton to sign James Rodriguez.

Lol

The guy doesn't have a club and played for Everton previously who chose to sell him. As for us he doesn't fit our profile an over paid overrated over 30 player who produces the occasional moment of genius.

I doubt either club is interested.

I am certainly NOT expecting to see Rodriguez in the shirt next season !!
A player is in his early 30s who had repeated calf problems at Everton.

This is a highly ignorant post however all I ever saw of Rodriguez was a quite nice goal at the World Cup for Colombia, don't remember anything beyond that.

If he came to Palace I would expect him to be on extortionate wages, hardly ever play if at all and when he does would not imagine he'd contribute much.

Could very well be the aforementioned ignorant statement from me however that would be my expectation and given his age am not inclined to believe there is any truth in it.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

If he hadn't already played for Everton I would have said he would be a typical signing for them big name but on the downhill slope of his career.

Did Everton choose to sell him as I thought that he came in on a short term contract that wasn't renewed.

When Everton played us I got nervous every time he got the ball as he was so skillfull but I seem to recall he spent more time injured than playing

My understanding (Which might be hogwash) is that Rodriguez was signed on a 2 year deal but departed after 1 year.He didn't wish to remain at the club and signed for a club abroad.
