That is your choice but there was a reason you voted Tory. Apathy or any other party could cost you a fair few quid and don’t think the morality will be any better. What we are in now would be multi times worse under labour, green or democrat. Not for the feckless, workshy and baby machines but the likes of you , me and our kids.

The entire point of being on the Right is to have principles. And those who claim leadership roles need to be able to fulfil those. Johnson simply has not. His judgement on this issue has been beyond poor. Almost impossible to countenance in my eyes.

Although to be fair, I had a pretty low opinion of him even before this. The man is a reptile, with a complete lack of a moral compass.

It"s refreshing to see someone on the right saying it Matov-we all can see it-people who try and defend this whole cabinet dross just make themselves look extreamly gullible!

Maybe. But I see Starmer as being guilty as well of breaking the regulations. Again, a man lacking in any kind of principles whatsoever.

It really is funny when a socialist lecture you about morals.

Remember the Brexit betrayal?

Remember Harold Wilson? The ultimate liar. They used to say that you could tell that he was lying because his lips were moving.

Remember the war criminal Tony Blair? The tosser is still trying to find ways to feather his own nest. The b****** opened the flood gates of immigration and sounded the death knell for our culture and heritage.

Remember Jim Callaghan? The man who caved to in union demand to keep his job.
What about that total bellend, lover of terrorists and CND bigwig
Jeremy Corbyn. He would have removed our nuclear arsenal and sent Putin a good luck message when he invaded Ukraine. The man campaigned against the EU all his career and then told us to stay in it just for votes.

Don't tell us that Boris is worse than these other scoundrels.
The Tories are the least bad option until a proper anti mass immigration party comes along who will remind the public why we have more congestion, more crime, a housing shortage, endless race nonsense and an NHS that can't see your 2 year old child when he is very ill.

No 10 staff having a drink at work after a tough schedule? Not high on my list of priorities.

So you're not allowed to date at the end of a genuine work meeting as opposed to a plethora of parties in the place that you live that even included No:10's Ethics Advisor (yes, they have such a role) in charge of the Karaoke - red wine up the wall, puke and an altercation? An almighty difference that certainly confirms the 'rule maker' as accountable for being the 'rule breaker'. Met Police evidently went soft on Boris not helped by Sue Gray refusing to fully investigate the party in Boris' flat .

More chance of Abba receiving a penalty fine from Met Police than Boris

And I rest my case. Until people give up this beyond ludicrous tribal politics and actually look at the cess-poor system that produces our senior politicians and nothing is going to change.

Now guilty as charged in the past, I make no bones about that, but the entire point about what Johnson and Starmer did is that both are looking to fudge the edges of what the rules were. When what was actually required was an absolute, zero tolerance, adherence to them. Leading by example.

The Queen sat alone at her husband's funeral for example. I am no massive advocate for the Monarchy, merely just seeing it as part of the furniture that comes with being born British, but that lady, she knows how to show a country how a leader REALLY acts.

Mat Ov - spot on. This isn't about party politics, this is about fundamental principles and ethics. And law breaking at the tax-payers expense

I disengage, I turn the page.

I don't think so M, I think it's trite and ridiculous.

Why put your career on the line over it, makes no sense.

I see labour 15 points ahead now.

Its all irrelevant. There will not be an election until late 2024. And I fear Johnson will win it again. The only people who can get rid of Johnson are the Tories and the ones who do really want him gone have blown it.

And life will continue.

Starmer ain't got it. It's as simple as that. I still believe they will go for a 'Progressive Alliance' which perhaps gets a handful of Lib-Dem seats from the Tories but does not break through in the North because both Brexit, still (the Lib Dems are not going to keep quiet about effectively rejoining, and this Trans nonsense.

Starmer can talk about all kinds of sensible policies but if he cannot say that only women can have wombs then he is just a laughing stock. Again, why you on the Left are looking to die on this Trans Hill is simply beyond my comprehension.
